TUESDAY, JUN 12, 12:00 pm will be the Flag Raising Ceremony in front of Oxnard City hall on 3rd St. This is in celebration of the Philippine Independence Day. Hope you would make time for this event.
ReplyDeleteThe Oxnard Public Library has announced the opening of “Filipinos in Ventura County,” a historical photo exhibit that will be displayed from now until June 30, 2012, at the Downtown Main Library, 251 South A Street.
The exhibit will present images that document the history of Filipinos in Ventura County dating back to the early 1900s, including their contributions to the community.
Downtown Main Library hours are: Monday-Thursday 9 AM – 8 PM, Saturdays 9 AM – 5:30 PM and Sundays 1 PM – 5 PM.
